Lake Dillon, CO   

Lake Dillon, CO is a man made lake about 1.25 hours East of our home in Eagle, CO.

This was our first camping trip in 2009 and was on the weekend before the campground started taking reservations.  The place was deserted with only a few exceptions. 

Of those exceptions we met a couple from German, Roland and Sigrum Sigrunette, who were touring the US in a rental RV.  A wonderful couple we have had the pleasure of staying in touch with thanks to the wonder of email.
